Reiki and the Magick of Ritual
Rituals of healing are found all over the world, in all societies and spiritual traditions. They speak to the collective consciousness, the universal life force, to bring communion and wholeness. Our modern culture, with the loss of our wise ones, has lost touch with our simple folk magick rituals. Reiki practitioners often take this role in the modern world, but some never learn the power of simple ritual techniques to create sacred space, safety, comfort and transformation. Some of us do ritual intuitively, but do not know the meaning behind it. All manner of rituals - from making tea to elaborate lunar or solar celebrations - help us to connect to the divine. It is through our connection that we truly heal ourselves, others and the world. Rituals engage us and our clients to take an active role in healing. Participants in this workshop will learn how to use magical and practical rituals to empower oneself (and one's clients) for the highest healing good. Based on his upcoming book, The Magick of Reiki. It is simple, easy and profoundly moving. Understand the history and modern use of this system. Learn the basic hand positions for treating the self and others, study the chakra system and the spiritual roots to disease. Participate in and receive hands on healing in this powerful yet gentle modality. (One class, 6-8 hours)
Reiki II
Deepen your relationship the Universal Life Force and increase your ability to channel Reiki healing energy through your second attunement. At level two, practitioners learn to work on an intimate level with others through healing release. Learn the three practitioner symbols the power symbol, mental emotional healing symbols and distance symbol. Learn to send reiki through the simple technique of distance treatment. Strengthen your skills as a practitioner for yourself, family, friends and clients. (One class, 6-8 hours)
Reiki I & II Intensive
Learn the ancient art of Reiki healing and become attuned to the Universal Life Force. Reiki is used for healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. It is simple, easy and profoundly moving. Understand the history and modern use of this system. Learn the basic hand positions for treating the self and others, study the chakra system and the spiritual roots to disease, use practitioner symbols for increasing healing energy, mental emotional healing and distance healing beyond time and space. A true step for one who desires to be a healing facilitator. (Two Classes, 6-8 hours)
Reiki Mastership (Master/Teacher)
Certified advanced class to be an independent Reiki Master. Receive your master-teacher initiation into the healing arts of Reiki. In this course learn the master symbols in both the Usui and Tibetan traditions, the microcosmic orbit, violet breath, to teach, pass practitioner and healing attunements and psychic surgery techniques. Come into your own power and style as a healing facilitator. All attendants must submit an application indicating independent study and be approved prior to the class. Independent study includes guidance and support through this preparation process. Call for application. Taught by request. (6 Month supported apprentice period, followed by one intensive class, 9 hours.)
